Prof. Karl W. Feilder is a serial tech entrepreneur and business sustainability advocate, and his direct actions to mitigate climate change have resulted in over 10.5 million tonnes of carbon dioxide savings for global corporations.  With over 15 years of board level Sustainability Strategy experience with public and private companies, Karl advises large corporations across multiple industries. He has led Sustainability Strategy creation and execution for well-known brands such as DHL, McDonald’s, Del Monte, BAT, and LG. Karl combines this with an in depth understanding of the real world usefulness of a plethora of different sustainable technologies. Now he wants to share that knowledge, and the ARROW model, with a wider audience. Karl has enjoyed a long history of successfully guiding companies through the different stages of growth. He has built and sold six companies, the first to Microsoft and the most recent to global logistics company Deutsche Post DHL. He led two companies to their Initial Public Offering, and is assisting impact investors with the growth of businesses in the DeFi and Web3 space. He built up The Neutral Group from a two-person startup to an international business, and is now preparing Neutral Fuels Holdings, a company that use apps, cloud services and distributed ledgers to sustainably produce bio-fuel from waste, for an IPO. Karl mentors startups across industry, and was the first Adjunct Lecturer at the carbon neutral Masdar Institute in Abu Dhabi. He has worked as a Catalyst at Hult International Business School in both Dubai and San Francisco. Karl holds a B.Eng. (Hons.) in Industrial Engineering, an executive MBA from Henley Management College, and is writing his PhD thesis on “psychological optimization of innovative teams.”
