I understand the vastness of the subject of the course that can be deepened thanks to the suggested readings, but sometimes I noticed that some aspects of some lessons were not very detailed or only mentioned. Other times I noticed the absence of entire ‘future lessons’ that had been announced by Dr. Imhof.
In general, in any case, it is a really inspiring and interesting course. The authenticity and passion that Dr. Barbara Imhof, Dr. René Waclavicek and Dr. Monika Brandić Lipińska convey make the course even more fascinating.
It really changed my vision of design and architecture of the future, and it represents for me the starting point of a path towards Space Architecture.
In conclusion I recommend the course to all designers and architects who want to increase their cultural background and design for a sustainable and prosperous future.
It’s a great intro course to the field of space architecture. If you’re already a design engineer, architectural graduate, or architectural student, the course offers design concepts to start designing for space and terrestrial environments. However, one area I found very powerful that is often neglected is understanding how to apply space concepts to challenges here on earth, also known as technology transfers.
Thank you for the very complex and interesting overview.
The course runs through several topics and open discussions.
Descriptions, examples and references do really help in going deeper in each field.
A lot of information to work and think about for imagining new steps forward in this discipline.
